2019 Crystal Tour

Lately, I love looking at people’s crystal tours on Instagram. Who needs a traditional house tour anyway? Let’s be real – we all just want to see what’s inside. Give me a tour of your fave crystals or your skincare cabinet over your actual house any day.

Without further ado, here are the crystals you’ll find sparkling in my home! Side note – I recently read Crystal Reiki: A Handbook for Healing Mind, Body, and Soul. Highly recommend for anyone who is even remotely interested in crystals or reiki healing! It’s super thorough, easy to read, and the illustrations are beautiful.

My most important crystal area: the windowsill above our bathtub. Baths are one of my fave things, so I tend to put most of my crystals nearby.
Here’s a more up close view! The big one is a recent purchase. Isn’t it gorge?! It’s a chevron amethyst, which means it’s a combination of amethyst and white quartz. It’s supposed to repel negative energy and bring relaxation.

Up front we have another amethyst (a treasure from when I was little), a quartz, and a rose quartz. The pyramid isn’t a crystal obviously, but it works with the vibe.
On the other side, I have an amethyst that my cousin brought me back from Brazil. The tower is a rose quartz from a recent trip to see her out in LA! It’s another one of my favorites.

The rest are tiny ones (rose quartz, obsidian, blue chalcedony, and chevron amethyst) that came out of my JaxKelly candles. If you haven’t tried their candles yet, do yourself a favor and get one immediately. I also have a little clear quartz from when I was a kid.
More bathtub crystals! The giant one is something my husband brought home from work for me. It was in a rock/mineral exhibit up at the library and the owner left it for him. If you look closely, you can see several quartz crystals! I have a rose quartz and another crystal (not sure what it is) stacked on top.
The last of the bathtub crystals! The sparkly one is the first crystal I bought as an adult when I rediscovered my obsession. It’s a angel aura quartz! The dark purple one next to it is an aragonite from my mom, which is said to be good for both your root and crown chakras.
This is part of the reason I was so in love with crystals as a kid! For my 4th birthday, which was at Discovery Zone (duh), my uncle got me this beautiful box of small crystals. Yes, I still remember it. There are a ton of different kinds in there – amethyst, tiger’s eye, amazonite, to name a few – along with random trinkets I stuck in there as a kid.

I wasn’t a regular four-year-old, I was a cool four-year-old.
My mom got me this giant celestite beauty for Christmas. It reminds me of the mountains! It also doubles as a weapon. I mean, you could probably kill someone with it if you have to, and that’s the kind of multi-purpose crystal I can appreciate.

Some people have guns, some people will just bash you over the head with a crystal, ya know? Moral of the story: don’t mess with people from Tulsa.
Speaking of celestite, I keep this gem in our guest bedroom. Celestite is said to be good for calling in angels and helping you remember your dreams.
In our living room, we have another amethyst! I think I have an amethyst addiction. I had no idea I had this many until now.

Check out the rose quartz candle holder that I got in LA!

I hope you enjoyed this glimpse into my crystal collection! I’m sure there are a few that I missed, but you get the picture. Many of mine were either gifts or purchases from Etsy/a local lady in Tulsa who sells them. The rose quartz candle holder and tower are from Crystalarium in LA.

Let me know if you’d like more info on where to get crystals, or if you have any crystal recommendations for me! Where are good places to go near OKC?
